Plano, Texas – Argon Medical Devices, Inc. today announced the publication of its largest real-world analysis to date evaluating the use of the CLEANER Vac® Thrombectomy System in the treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE). The study includes data from 200 patients treated across multiple clinical settings, further expanding the growing body of evidence supporting mechanical thrombectomy in venous disease management.
The publication builds upon prior clinical experience with the CLEANER Vac® system and provides additional real-world insights into physician practice patterns, procedural performance, and patient outcomes. As healthcare providers continue to seek effective solutions for managing venous thrombosis, expanded clinical evidence remains critical in supporting informed treatment decisions.
“The publication of this 200-patient analysis adds to the growing body of clinical evidence supporting the use of our technology in real-world practice,” said George Leondis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Argon Medical. “For physicians, what matters is how a technology performs in the patients they treat every day. We are committed to generating meaningful clinical evidence that helps physicians make informed treatment decisions and, ultimately, improve patient care”.
Venous thromboembolism remains a significant global healthcare concern and is associated with substantial patient morbidity. The continued evaluation of thrombectomy technologies in real-world settings helps clinicians better understand treatment approaches and supports ongoing efforts to improve patient care.
“Our goal is to continuously generate and share clinical evidence that can help physicians optimize treatment strategies,” said Dr. Pete Stibbs, Senior Vice President and Medical Director at Argon Medical. “The addition of 200 patient cases provides valuable data that contributes to the growing understanding of mechanical thrombectomy in contemporary venous practice.”
The newly published study represents a significant expansion of the clinical experience surrounding CLEANER Vac® and reinforces Argon Medical’s focus on evidence generation, physician education, and innovation in the treatment of venous disease.
Argon Medical continues to invest in research initiatives that evaluate the safety, effectiveness, and real-world application of its technologies, supporting physicians in delivering high-quality care to patients worldwide.
