In addition, it was founded to promote diversity and inclusion within the Society, in vascular surgery education, training and research. The objectives of the Society is to advance the art and science of vascular surgery and provide an educational forum for physicians in the Eastern United States and Canada active in the field of vascular diseases. Lastly, the hope is to improve the delivery to the public of healthcare for vascular diseases and encourage research in the etiologu, diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases.
