The American Venous Forum, (“AVF”), the leading global medical society dedicated to advancing venous and lymphatic research, education and advocacy to ensure all patients have access to optimal prevention and treatment options, and Argon Medical Devices, Inc. (“Argon”), a leading provider of medical device solutions for Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, and Oncology procedures, are pleased to announce a partnership on CLEAR-VIEW XT. This is a prospective, multi-center, open-label clinical investigation evaluating the Cleaner Vac® Thrombectomy System for the Treatment of Lower Extremity Proximal Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) (CNPV01).

“The AVF is thrilled to partner with Argon to advance clinical research for deep vein thrombosis. Prospective trial data is crucial for improving patient care as it provides the highest level of clinical evidence.” said Mark Iafrati, MD, President of the American Venous Forum.

The CLEAR-VIEW XT study is expected to enroll 185 adults with lower-extremity proximal deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This prospective, multicenter study is designed to evaluate the safety, procedural performance, and clinical outcomes in the treatment of DVT with the Cleaner Vac® Thrombectomy System.

“CLEAR-VIEW XT is an important step forward and will answer critical questions about how we manage DVT patients,” said Dr. Iafrati. “It is our ultimate desire that the insights gained from this trial will drive advancements in patient care for all patients, enhancing safety, effectiveness, health equity, and overall healthcare quality.”

“The CLEAR-VIEW XT study reflects our shared commitment to advancing evidence-based care for patients with proximal lower-extremity DVT. We’re proud to collaborate with the American Venous Forum and the dedicated investigators participating in this clinical study, and we look forward to building meaningful clinical insights around the CLEANER Vac® Thrombectomy System and supporting physicians with a thrombectomy solution that prioritizes efficiency, control, and improved patient outcomes.” said Dr. Pete Stibbs, Argon Medical’s Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs & Medical Director.
