George Leondis

George A. Leondis President & Chief Executive Officer

George A. Leondis is President and Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors, of Argon Medical Devices, Inc. He has over 25 years of leadership experience in the medical device industry and is responsible for all strategic and functional areas of Argon’s business.

Previous to joining Argon in 2009, Mr. Leondis served as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Angiotech Interventional, a subsidiary of Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which manufactured and marketed vascular and non-vascular devices for use in Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery. In his years leading that business, he was responsible for the development and execution of its corporate strategy, guiding it to become a leading player in its market segments.

Mr. Leondis has held various management and commercial roles at companies including St. Jude Medical, Orascoptic Research and Medical Device Technologies, Inc., where he was promoted through various positions of increased responsibility.

Mr. Leondis currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Medical Device Manufacturers Association and IZI Medical Products. 

Mr. Leondis holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.

Kurt Baltutat

Kurt Baltutat is Vice President of US Sales for Argon Medical Devices, Inc. He joined the company in February of 2011, and has US responsibility for direct sales. He has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry.

Prior to joining Argon, Mr. Baltutat most recently served as Northern Region Manager for Angiotech Interventional, a subsidiary of Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which manufactured and marketed disposable vascular and non-vascular devices for use in Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery.

After several years in various sales and management roles as a distributor and independent representative, Mr. Baltutat was hired by InterV/Medical Device Technologies, Inc.

He was promoted to Region Manager to develop sales in the Western US and later transitioned to the Northeast where he spent several years as the Northern Region Manager prior to the company’s sale to Angiotech.

Mr. Baltutat holds a Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.

Dick Cassidy

Dick Cassidy Senior Vice President, Global Sales

Dick Cassidy is Sr. Vice President, Global Sales for Argon Medical Devices, Inc.  He joined the company in January of 2018 and has global responsibility for direct sales and OEM sales.  He brings to Argon more than 25 years of medical device experience with leadership roles in both sales and marketing, with a great deal of his career in the interventional space.

Most recently Mr. Cassidy served as Vice President and General Manager of U.S. Commercial Operations at Opsens Medical. Prior to Opsens, Mr. Cassidy worked closely with the venture capital firm, Volcano Capital managing several of their early stage medical device portfolio companies helping develop strategy, raise funding and commercialize new products.

Mr. Cassidy served as Sr. Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing at AngioScore, helping lead the company to a successful acquisition with Spectranetics. He was also Divisional Vice President of Sales for Abbott Vascular. Mr. Cassidy began his medical device career as a sales rep with Boston Scientific spending 17 years in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility before leaving the company as a Vice President of Sales.

Mr. Cassidy holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia.

Christian Chilcott

Christian A. Chilcott is Senior Vice President, Global Marketing for Argon Medical Devices, Inc. He joined the company in September 2009 and has global marketing responsibility. He has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry.

Prior to joining Argon, Mr. Chilcott held various sales and marketing leadership roles in a combined 8 years at Angiotech Interventional and InterV/Medical Device Technologies, Inc. Both of these organizations manufactured and marketed disposable vascular and non-vascular devices for use in Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery. Mr. Chilcott began his career in medical devices as a field sales representative.

Mr. Chilcott holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas.

Meir Dahan

Meir Dahan Vice President, Research & Development

Meir Dahan is Vice President of Research and Development for Argon Medical Devices Inc.  Mr. Dahan joined the company in March of 2018 and has responsibilities for all R&D activities on a global basis. Mr. Dahan brings over 25 years of proven leadership experience to Argon from both the Medical Device and Telecommunications industries.

Most recently, Mr. Dahan served as Executive Vice President, R&D for IMRIS, a designer and manufacturer of integrated, image-guided therapy suites and products for surgical and interventional procedures.  Prior to IMRIS, Mr. Dahan held several senior technical and program management positions at Baxter Healthcare in both their BioScience and Medical Products businesses. 

Mr. Dahan holds a BSEE from Ben Gurion University and MSEE, and MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Beckie Ellis

Beckie Ellis Vice President, Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance

Beckie Ellis is Vice President, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs and has global responsibility for plant Quality Assurance, global Quality Systems’ development, Regulatory Compliance, Certifications, Submissions and Approvals.

Beckie is an internationally experienced RAQA professional with diversified knowledge and skills that cover more than 25 years of Quality Systems, Process Improvement, Sterilization Validation and New Product Development experience in both the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. She has worked for such companies as NeoRx, Fuller Laboratories/Parke-Davis, International Isotopes, Medical Incorporated, St. Jude Medical, and OsteoMed before joining the Argon team. These organizations cross a variety of product platforms including kidney dialysis, brachytherapy products, radiopharmaceuticals, heart valves, vascular grafts, arterial and cardiotomy blood filters, breast implants and orthopedic implants.

During her career Ms. Ellis has worked overseas where she oversaw the relocation of a mini-assembly plant in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and served as Operations Manager for a heart valve manufacturing facility in Perth, Australia.

She holds a B.S. in Microbiology as well as an M.B.A. in Operations Management from the University of Minnesota, and has achieved a Master’s Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Villanova. She has her RAC from RAPS and is certified as a CQA, CSSGB, CQE, CQIA and CQM/OE from the American Society for Quality.

On a personal note, Ms. Ellis has held volunteer leadership positions for the ASQ Biomedical Division and Dallas Section of ASQ and currently serves as the ASQ representative to the FDA/Medical Device Industry Coalition in Dallas, TX. She also served two years as a site examiner with Quality Texas for the Texas Quality Award.

Mark Frost

Mark Frost is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Argon Medical Devices, Inc.  He joined the company in March of 2018 and has global responsibility for Finance and IT.  Mr. Frost brings over 30 years of financial and executive-level management experience from both private and public companies in the healthcare industry.

Most recently, Mr. Frost served as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President & Treasurer of Analogic, a medical and aviation technology company.  Prior to Analogic, Mr. Frost served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Angiodynamics a medical device company.  Mr. Frost began his career with General Electric, while serving in a variety of roles for 14 years in finance, Mr. Frost last served as Chief Financial Officer in the Groupe Sovac Auto Financial Services division.

Mr. Frost holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in International Relations and Economics from Colgate University.   He is also a graduate of the INSEAD Global Executive Program and GE Financial Management Program.

Michael Kronby

Michael Kronby is the Vice President, Sales and Marketing EMEA. He has sales and marketing responsibility for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Kronby joined the company in April 2013, as the Director, Sales and Marketing Interventional EMEA. He has over 13 years of experience in the medical device industry.

Prior to joining Argon, Mr. Kronby most recently served as Director, Sales & Marketing, Outside US, for Angiotech Interventional, a subsidiary of Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which manufactured and marketed disposable vascular and non-vascular devices for use in Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery.

Mr. Kronby was promoted through several positions with Angiotech Interventional, starting with Sales Manager, moving to Marketing Manager, Area Manager, Area Sales and Marketing Manager, and Director, Sales & Marketing, outside US.

Prior to Angiotech, Mr. Kronby was a Corporate Product Manager for Ambu, a company that produces and markets anesthesia, patient monitoring and diagnostics, and emergency care devices for hospitals and rescue services.

Mr. Kronby holds a Bachelor’s degree from Academy Foundation, DK.

Sharon McNally

Sharon McNally is the Vice President, Finance of Argon Medical Devices, Inc. She joined the company in November 2003, and has global responsibility for finance. She has over 25 years of experience in the medical industry.

Prior to joining Argon, Ms. McNally worked a combined 17 years for Cardinal Health, Allegiance Healthcare and Baxter Healthcare. She most recently served as Director of Manufacturing Finance for the Perioperative Products and Services Business Unit, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, Inc.’s Medical Products and Services segment. Other key positions held during her tenure included Director of Finance for the PBDS and Custom Sterile businesses as well as Director of International Treasury for Cardinal Health. Prior to these roles, she held additional financial management positions in Treasury, distribution and manufacturing.

Ms. McNally is a CPA, CCM (Certified Cash Manager) and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University.

Bill Morgan

Bill G. Morgan Jr. is Senior Vice President of Operations for the America’s, with responsibility for manufacturing facilities in Texas, Illinois and New York. He joined Argon Medical Devices in 2004, left in 2006 after being called to active duty with U.S. Army in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and returned to Argon in 2009. Mr. Morgan has over 27 years of experience in operations, with 23 years dedicated specifically to the medical device industry.

Prior to joining Argon, Mr. Morgan worked a combined 13 years for Cardinal Health, Allegiance Healthcare, and Baxter Healthcare in various leadership capacities with a focus on delivering value through continuous improvement in the operational arena.

Mr. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Anthony Ng

Antony Ng Vice President, Sales & Marketing Asia

Antony Ng is Vice-President, Asia Sales & Marketing. He joined the company in September 2010, and has sales and marketing responsibility for the Asia region. Antony has over 22 years of experience in the medical device industry and 10 years of experience in the Telecommunication industry.

Prior to joining Argon, Antony served in various management roles for 3M Drug Delivery Systems, Bio-Scaffold International, Becton Dickinson, Ohmeda Critical Care and Baxter Healthcare Far East.

Antony holds a Master’s degree from University of Hull, UK.

Jason Whitehair

Jason K. Whitehair is Vice President, Human Resources for Argon Medical Devices, Inc.  He joined the company in April of 2018, and has global responsibility for Argon’s Human Resources.  He brings to Argon more than 30 years of Human Resources experience in a variety of sectors; including Information Technology, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Healthcare, as well as Medical Devices. 

Most recently, Mr. Whitehair served as Vice President, Human Resources for the Lovelace Health System. Prior to Lovelace, Mr. Whitehair was the Vice President of Human Resources for LHP Hospital Group, where he helped lead the company to a successful acquisition with Ardent Health Services. Previously he served as Vice President, Human Resources for St. Jude Medical’s Neuromodulation Division.

Mr. Whitehair holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Westminster College, in New Wilmington Pennsylvania.

Tom Younker

Tom Younker is Vice President, Upstream Marketing for Argon Medical Devices, Inc. He joined the company in 2013, and has responsibility for identifying opportunities to better serve the needs of customers through development of new product solutions. Mr. Younker has over 12 years of experience in the medical device industry.

Mr. Younker’s previous role was a Group Product Director responsible for growing awareness and utilization of Argon’s vascular product portfolio. Prior to Argon, Mr. Younker spent 7 years with St. Jude Medical’s Neuromodulation Division as a Director of Product Management working with Neurosurgeons and Pain Management Physicians to improve Spinal Cord Stimulation and Deep Brain Stimulation therapies.

 Mr. Younker is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served as an Acquisitions Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy.
